Hip Hop Dancers Do It Gangnam Style in Washington Flash Mob

It was a Gangnam Style flash mob in Washington Square Park on September 23, 2012. These type of flash mobs are flaring up all over the world.  Hundreds of hip hop dancers showed up on McKeldin Mall for a Gangnam Style flash mob, some were even wearing yellow, red or blue suits.   Some dancers had not yet heard of the viral song and video to Gangnam Style which began in Korea.  These movements sometimes begin on Facebook event pages and the better ones include instructional videos so participants can learn the dance before showing up to the event.  Someone also has to make sure the music is nice and loud to inspire passersby to join in.  Gangnam Style flash mobs have also been spottedn in Virginia, New York, California, Georgia and even Sweden in 2012 at the Kulturhuset.  The L.A. flash mob was on Sept. 17 alongside Psy to promote the “Extra” tv show.  Psy, who is the Korean dance sensation, was also performing the dance on NBC’s Today show.

Who knows where the next flash mob will flash up, just be ready by taking beginner hip hop dance lessons at HipHopCrusher.com!
