So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 All Stars
All Stars joined the top 10 finalists in this seasons’ SYTYCD. Step Up Revolution stars Kathryn McCormick and Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss are part of the show. Instead of dancing in pairs, these finalists were paired up with previous SYTYCD alumni!
Witney Carson and Nick Lazzarini (Season 1) Witney Carson finally got a chance to dance with Nick in an up-tempo Travis Wall contemporary routine. Although she found herself in the bottom two based on last week, she exuded star power and took a big step forward.
Cole Horibe and Anya Garnis (Season 3) Cole worked it with a cha-cha dance with Anya but was chastised for his footwork and his lines in that dance.
Lindsay Arnold and Jakob Karr (Season 6) “Goodness me, when you think two weeks ago, you were almost going home, and here you are tonight being magnificent yet again,” said judge Lythgoe.
Will Thomas and Kathryn McCormick (Season 6) This time Bollywood was on the menu and Will played a snake charmer revealing “Step Up Revolution” starlet Kathryn McCormick out of a wicker basket. The audience went wild.
Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer and Jaimie Goodwin (Season 3) “You, Cyrus, are somebody that has to dance,” said judge Lythgoe who also called him “brilliant.”
Chehon Wespi-Tschopp and Lauren Gottlieb (Season 3) Chehon is typically a ballet dancer, but he went all out with hip-hop dance on this episode of the show and did great.
George Lawrence II and Allison Holker (Season 2) “You’re an amazing mover,” said Millepied but judge Lythgoe was less flattering, citing the believability of his character as a problem.
Eliana Girard and Alex Wong (Season 7) Girard put down arguably the best performance of the night in a contemporary dance routine that got a standing ovation. Judge Lythgoe said she was his favorite female dancer of the season. Looks like Eliana will be around awhile longer.
Audrey Case and Stephen “tWitch” Boss (Season 4) Audrey worked a hip-hop routine as the final performance of the evening. Maybe Twitch stole the show on this one though.
George Lawrence II and Audrey Case were the two that were let go and then there were 8. All 10 will be participating in the SYTYCD U.S. tour though.
